JIm Keefe

Executive Vice President & Group Publisher, Recycling Today Media Group

James Keefe is group publisher of the Recycling Today Media Group and executive vice president of GIE Media Inc. He oversees the publication of Recycling Today, Waste Today and Construction & Demolition Recycling magazines and their affiliated websites and events.

In 2000, Keefe and the Recycling Today team launched the Paper Recycling Conference followed in 2005 by the launch of a European event of the same name. Those events have evolved into today’s Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference and are today the industry’s leading business events. The events have been held across Europe as well as China, the United Arab Emirates and India.

Keefe is an active board member of the Paper Stock Industries chapter of the Institute of Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) while also serving on numerous ReMA committees. He is a board member of the Construction Materials Recycling Association where he serves on numerous committees. He also is an active committee member with the National Waste & Recycling Association.

Keefe joined GIE Media in 1991 and is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in finance and concentration of study in interpersonal communications.

Sean Daoud

Vice President, PNW Metal Recycling Inc.

Sean Daoud is a second-generation recycler and vice president, director and shareholder of PNW Metal Recycling Inc., which operates in Oregon and Washington. He holds multiple degrees from Portland State University and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Sean deeply believes in the recycling industry and serves as secretary-treasurer of the Recycled Materials Association.
