Bill Sulak is president of Ferrous Processing & Trading (FPT), where he oversees and directs all operations, commercial activity, business development and growth strategy for the company.

Bill has more than 18 years of experience in commercial, operational and leadership roles in the metal recycling industry. He began his career with FPT in 2007 as an account executive in Michigan before becoming senior sales manager for the company’s Ohio locations in 2012. In 2014, he was promoted to regional director of the Southern region and was appointed to the executive leadership team in 2015. Prior to his current role, he served as executive vice president of the Southern and Mexico regions.

Bill also sits on several boards and committees, including the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), Gemini Recycling and New Copper Country, and he recently served as president of ReMA’s Southeast region.

As a leader, Bill strongly believes in servant leadership and prioritizes the growth and well-being of his team. He attributes their passion and grit to FPT’s innovation and success in the industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn.
